Nathaniel “Nat” Miljus, Jr., age 84, of Upper St. Clair, PA, passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 surrounded by his family. Born December 23, 1939, he was the son of the late Lieutenant Colonel Nathaniel and Dorothy (Yurjevic) Miljus.
Nat, an avid history buff and fan of all Pittsburgh sports teams, was a passionate alumnus of Ohio State University and a long-time season ticket holder for Buckeye football. He was an active member of St. John Capistran & Resurrection Parish, serving as a Eucharistic Minister and a member of the Men’s Club. After receiving his bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Nat spent his career working in the steel industry, and earned a Master’s Degree from Duquesne University by going to school at night. He loved to tinker with his vintage Corvette and was happiest working in his yard.
Nat is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Virginia Miljus; two children, Kristin (Michael) Miljus Kelly and Jonathan (Stine) Miljus; two grandchildren, Connor and Kyle; one brother Donald Miljus, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
