Nancy J. Shearn (Hite)

Age 82, of Dormont, on Wednesday, February 1, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Robert J. Shearn; loving mother of Richard Shearn (Nancy), Bob Shearn (Pam), Dan Shearn (Maggie), and Kathleen Zajicek (Joseph); grandmother of Blake Poliziani, Nina Shaw, Samantha Foster, Lee, Colton, Julia, Corey, Courtni, and Joshua Shearn, and Riley Joey, Katie, and Madeline Zajicek; and great-grandmother of 5. In addition to her husband, Nancy was predeceased by a daughter, Mary Ann Poliziani and her brothers, Larry and Keith Hite. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, other extended family, friends, and her dog, Toby.  Nancy worked for several years as a homecare referral nurse for Allegheny General Hospital. Family and Friends are welcome Monday, February 6 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM in WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, 1650 Greentree Rd., Scott Twp., 15220 where her memorial service will also take place Tuesday, February 7 at 10 AM.  Interment to follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Scott Twp. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her name may be sent to the Down Syndrome Association of Pittsburgh, 2211 Lesnett Road, Unit 12864, Pittsburgh, PA 15241.
