Myrtle L. Flaherty

Age 89, of Duquesne Heights, passed peacefully on Sunday, August 19, 2019, born June 2, 1929. Beloved daughter of the late Nellie Myrtle and Joseph Flaherty; beloved sister of Gladys Flynn, Russell Flaherty, Patricia Hoffman, Norman, Clifford and Robert Flaherty; also survived by 17 nieces and nephews, 28 great-nieces and nephews and 13 great-great nieces and nephews. Myrtle loved sewing, gardening, baking cookies and painting graduation signs for relatives. In 1960 she toured Europe. She was very independent and a woman of strength and loving Aunt "Myrt" to friends.
