Murray W. Harris

Sadly, on Thursday, March 16, 2017, Murray, 93, of Mt. Lebanon, born and raised in McKeesport, PA. Beloved husband for 62 years of Beverly (Schulberg). Dear father of Betsy (David) Rascoe, Andrew J. (Jill) Harris and Michael (Stephanie) Harris. Treasured grandfather of Alex, Ben, Sarah, and Alana Rascoe, Nathan and Josh Harris, Hannah, Aaron and Rachel Harris. Preceded in death by his loving sisters, Charlotte (Clarence) Rosenberg and LaVerne Smith; and survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Murray was a decorated veteran of WWII and graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a Masters Degree. He was the proud Public Relations Director for the Development Corporation for Israel. He and Beverly enjoyed many years of world travel and supported the arts with a large circle of friends.
