Of Mt. Lebanon, age 70, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 30, 2013, surrounded by family and friends. He was born June 11, 1943, in Uniontown, PA, to the late Michael and Clara Potrocky. Beloved husband of Rebecca J. (Barefoot) ; loving father of Michael (Kim), Kristen (Brett) Ausherman, Cole and Spencer; proud Pap Pap of Ian, Ariana, Steeler, Hayden, and Dylan. Although Mickey was an only child, he will be sadly missed by his many Barefoot brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Mickey earned his Ph.D. in speech pathology at the University of Pittsburgh in 1977 and practiced speech therapy for over 50 years. He served as the Executive Director for the USTA National Amateur Clay Court Tournament in Mt. Lebanon for 17 years. Mickey was recently inducted into the Fayette County Sports Hall of Fame.
