Michael J. Mullen

Age 65 of Pittsburgh, on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, after a short illness. Beloved husband of Naomi Mullen. Dear father of Jamie (Patrick) Paski, Noel Mullen, and the late Patrick Mullen. Loving grandfather of Conor Garfold and Bowie Paski. Brother of Linda (Stan) Franiewski, Kathleen Mullen, James Mullen, Patricia (Albert Maerkel) and Leo (late Jennifer) Mullen. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mike retired as Deputy Chief with the City of Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire. He was a firefighter for 41 years, spending 17 years as Deputy Chief. Mike was considered a passionate, tireless, dedicated, Chief that was highly conscientious, caring for his fellow firefighters as family. A Memorial Service will be held today, Friday, at 12:00 noon until time of Service at 2:00 p.m. at the PITTSBURGH FIREFIGHTERS UNION HALL, 120 Flowers Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15207.
