Age 70 of Pittsburgh, on Tuesday, March 1, 2022. Beloved husband of Deborah Ann (Michaels) McDonough; loving father of Ashley (Brett) Newbould; brother of Augustus McDonough, Martin McDonough, Joseph (Joyce) McDonough, Kenneth (late Susan) McDonough, Madeline (Greg) McDonough; grandfather of Grace and Emily Newbould. Mickey was loved and cherished by all who knew him and he was always the life of the party. He worked most of his career as a Color Timer at W.R.S. Motion Picture Lab. He spent 46 years married to his wonderful wife, Debby. He was very proud of his only daughter, Ashley and son-in-law of 18 years, Brett. After he retired he devoted his time to being a caring and loving grandfather to his two granddaughters, Grace and Emily. He will be especially missed by his grand-dog Lucy, who could always count on him to play fetch with her favorite ball. From all of the time he spent in his career watching movies and documentaries, he was full of knowledge and could beat anyone at a game of trivia. He was always the comedian, and was extremely quick with a one liner or joke. Family events will never be the same without him. He was generous to a fault and always available to help anyone with anything they needed. He will be greatly missed.
