Michael G. Hall, a man whose essence was filled with tenderness, love, and unwavering loyalty, bid farewell to this world on May 21, 2023, peacefully at the age of 68. With heavy hearts, we reflect upon the remarkable life of a generous and hardworking individual who embraced nature's beauty and cherished his family, friends and beloved dog with unparalleled devotion. His existence left an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to know him.
A man whose genuine compassion was comfort to those in need. With a spirit that knew no bounds, Michael would lend a helping hand to friends and strangers alike, selflessly giving of himself without a second thought.
Michael understood the value of dedication and perseverance. He approached his endeavors with total commitment, immersing himself in each task with unmatched work ethic. His strong sense of responsibility and discipline not only earned him the respect of his peers but also propelled him to achieve remarkable successes in his career. Michael's presence was a source of inspiration, a reminder that hard work, when coupled with a determined spirit, could pave the way to greatness.
Proud and determined, Michael possessed a stubborn streak that gave him the resilience to weather life's storms. Michael inspired those around him to confront their own obstacles with unwavering courage.
Above all, Michael's greatest joy and source of pride were his family. He cherished his role as a husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He poured his heart and soul into nurturing and protecting his loved ones. His home was a haven of love and laughter where family gatherings were filled with warmth and cherished memories.
Michael is survived by his wife Mary, daughter Jennifer (David), son Michael (Andrea), Grandchildren Michael, Isla, Lucille, and Lennon. Siblings Charles (Canidice), Kimberly (Robert), Anna, Virginia (David), Guy (Kelli), Tony (Kathy), Robert (Christa) and Beverly. He was also survived by countless nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was proceeded in death his beloved mother Helen, fathers Warren and Guy, siblings Theresa and Rick.
As we bid farewell to Michael, we find solace in the knowledge that his spirit lives on within the hearts of all those he touched. His tender heart, generous soul, and unyielding love will forever inspire us to embrace life's wonders and to cherish the relationships that give our lives meaning. Rest in peace, dear Michael, knowing that you have left an indelible mark on this world.
Family and friends welcome in WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE (412-563-2800) 1650 Greentree Rd, Scott Twp., Thursday June 15 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Funeral mass will be held at St. Margaret of Scotland, 310 Mansfield Avenue on June 16 at 11am, followed by internment at St. Casmir’s Cemetery, 1507 Hamilton Road.
