Michael Louis Gangone

Unexpectedly, on Thursday, November 2nd, 2017. Beloved Son of Louis and Catherine (Kinzler) Gangone; brother of Danielle Gangone (Tyler Strohmeyer); grandson of Julia Gangone. Also, survived by Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.
Sergeant Gangone, a decorated U.S. Army Veteran, served in Operation Iraqi Freedom in the 17th Military Police Detachment, 4th Battalion, 10th Infantry Regiment, 171st Infantry Brigade. He went on to work as a contractor for The U.S. Department of State in Iraq and Afghanistan. Michael was an active person who enjoyed working out and running, and had a love for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Family and Friends are welcome Monday, November 6th, 5 PM to 8 PM at William Slater II Funeral Service, 1650 Greentree Road, Scott Twp. Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Grace Church Tuesday, November 7th, at 8:00 AM. Interment at The National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. Donations may be made to The Boys and Girls Club of Carnegie.
