Age 97, of Mt. Washington, on Sunday, December 21, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Anthony J. "Boonie" Mancuso; daughter of the late Blanche (Minsinger) and William Zehfuss; granddaughter of the late Jacob and Annie Minsinger; niece of the late Ruth and Fred Brown. She is survived by many generations of cousins, who loved and cared about her and will miss her greatly. Melva, who loved her Lord, was a longtime member and supporter of Grace Episcopal Church attending faithfully as long as she was able. She was a graduate of South Hills High School and an active member of the Alumni Association. Melva always loved dancing and in her younger years danced regularly with many of her friends creating fond memories of which she often reminisced. Even in her later years, Melva was still a kind and giving friend to many, easy to talk with and brightened the days of those she came in contact with. She will be missed by the many people who loved her dearly throughout the many stages of her life. Melva was a very patriotic person who dearly loved her country, the flag, the city of Pittsburgh, Mt. Washington and was very proud of her German heritage. Loving, caring, and generous, are three characteristics that best describe Melva.
