Mary Lou (Raihall) Gill

On Wednesday, October 24, of Mt. Washington, passed away peacefully at age 91, surrounded by her children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter J. Gill, Jr.; her sons, Joseph W. and Thomas P.; her father, Joseph; and her mother, Anna; along with eight brother and sisters; Elmo, Helen (Krizsak), Margaret (Plank). Steve, Bill, Elizabeth (Lawyer), Vera (Wytiaz), and Laura (McDermott); she is survived by her dauther, Nancy Taylor (Eric); sons, Michael (Sandra), James (Mary Beth); and daughter-in-law, Linda; proud grandmother of Bobby (Shelly), Jason (Marissa), Christopher (Jenn), Vince (Arron) Lewis, Michael, Sarah, Evan Gill, Craig, Joshua, Caitlin, James, Jack, Chloe, and Cameron Gill, Joseph (Lina) Patrick, Matthew (Mallory) Gill; and great-grandmother of 10. She graduated from South Side High School in 1944. She worked various jobs over her lifetime at the Unemployment office, Hornes, and waitressing. She volunteered at her Church, St. Mary of the Mount, schools, election polls, and more recently, at the Senior Center in Mt. Washington. She was an avid reader, lucky Bingo player and always had a helping hand for everyone.
