Mary E. Kirsch

Age 87 of Crafton, on December 25. Mary Elizabeth Kirsch reunited with her parents, Alphonse and Catherine (Mahoney), her brother Paul, and her great niece Momoko Munnell. She is survived by nieces Jennifer Kirsch and Melissa (Kameo) Munnell, and great-nephew Kiyoshi Munnell. Mary humbly brightened the lives of all she encountered through her service in the Roman Catholic Church as Sister Pius and afterward in her ministry at Kane Hospital. She generously supported numerous animal charities locally and nationally.  

Friends welcome Thursday, 2-4 and 6-8 pm in WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE (412-563-2800) 1650 Greentree Rd., Scott Twp 15220. Mass of Christian Burial in Ascension Roman Catholic Church, Friday 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, donations suggested to Animal Advocates: 35 Wabash Street; Pittsburgh, PA 15220.
