55, of Rosslyn Farms, unexpectedly passed quietly and peacefully in her sleep at home, on Thursday, January 17, 2013. Survived by her beloved husband, Jack Harper; mother-in-law, Doris Harper; brothers, James P. (Karen) Donahoe, Dennis J. (Peggy) Donahoe; sister and best friend of Patricia Carter, and sister Judith (Robert) McGinnis. To be sadly missed by her nephews, Dennis, James, and Daniel Donahoe; and nieces, Kelly Buettner, Kierstyn, Betsy, and Allison McGinnis. Predeceased by her parents, James and Dolores; her brother Richard; niece, Melissa, brother-in-Iaw, James Carter; and sister-in-law, Nancy Harper Rich. Mary Lou enjoyed life to the fullest with her husband Jack, her family, wide circle of friends and coworkers. She enjoyed cooking classes with her sister Patti and dear friend Barb and would then ply her skills preparing amazing meals for family and friends. Mary Lou worked in the Health Care Insurance field for over 30 years at CIGNA. She volunteered at Gilda's Club and enjoyed outdoor activities including gardening and her passion of bicycling. Family and friends welcome Monday 7-9 and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 at WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SVC., 1650 Greentree Rd., Scott Twp., where a Blessing Service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday.
