MARY ELLEN CAIN
Age 78, of Mt. Washington, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. She was the loving mother of Dan Carness (Bobbi) and Sarah Carness (Lisa); beloved grandmother of Declan, Ryley, and Abby Carness; and sister of Bill Cain (Sally) and Ellie Malloy (Jim). Mary Ellen is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Mary Ellen loved to read, was a jigsaw puzzle enthusiast, and a NCIS aficionado.
Mass of Christian Burial Friday, April 17, 2026, 11 AM, St. Mary of the Mount Church, Mary, Queen of Peace Parish, 403 Grandview Avenue. Interment to follow in Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Respiratory Care Foundation, www.arcfoundation.org.
