Mary Bernice (Craig) Doyle

Age 92, of Scott Township passed away peacefully at her home on November 23, 2020. She was the beloved wife of the late James Doyle, loving mother of Karen (David) Shepherd, Kernersville, NC, Deborah (Richard) Wanek, Janet (Michael) Taylor and James Doyle. Devoted grandmother of Lindsay (Alan) Hodgson, Winston-Salem, NC, Brad (Laura) Shepherd, Virginia Beach, VA, Colleen Shepherd, Winston-Salem, NC, Mark Wanek (Danielle Black), Matthew (Kristin) Wanek, Scottsdale, AZ, and Jimmy (Kelly) Taylor. Proud great-grandmother of Margaret, Betsy and Claire Hodgson, Morgan and Connor Shepherd, Madison, Grayson, Landon and Hudson Wanek, and Grace Taylor.Mary Bernice was the daughter of the late Earl and Grace Craig and was raised in the Beechview section of Pittsburgh. She was the sister of the late William and Robert Craig. In addition to her immediate family, she is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Mary Bernice attended St Mary of the Mount High School where she graduated in 1946 and met her future husband. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo and games and belonged to many card clubs. She also enjoyed her annual beach vacations with her family. Special thanks to the team from Gallagher Hospice for their compassion and for making Mary Bernice's final months more comfortable and peaceful. Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic facial masking & social distancing is required at the funeral home.
