Mary Rowan Capenos

Age 92, a resident of Green Tree for 55 years, on Wednesday, March 28, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Jack; dear mother of Mark (Cindy), Paul, and the late Jim Capenos; loving grandmother of Shawn, Jason, Kristin, Eric, and Nick (Randilee); special great-grandmother of Lillee. Mary retired after 20 years as a nursing instructor for Sewickley Valley Hospital School for Nursing. She received her BA from Carlow College, MS from Marquette University, and her PhD from the University of Pittsburgh. Mary was an adjunct faculty professor for ten years at LaRoche College. She also was a former Board Member of Keystone Oaks School District for 20 years, Member of the Board of Trustees at Carlow College, and active with the Carlow Alumni Association. Mary was also a member for over 55 years of St. Margaret of Scotland Parish, and a former Board Member of Green Tree Library.
