Age 76, of Mt. Washington, passed away on Monday, August 6, 2018. Wife of the late Chester A. Vates, Jr.; beloved mother of John Vates, Bill Vates, Lori Jones and Lisa Engelmore; loving grandmother of Brandon, Jenna, Candice and Niklaus; also survived by two great-grandchildren. Mary Ann worked in the bakery at the former Foodland in Mt. Washington.
