Mary (Malley) Aloisi of Mount Lebanon (formerly of Baldwin) died peacefully on Thursday, July 21, 2022, at the age of 90. She was the daughter of Earl John Malley and Frances Clifford Malley. Mary married the love of her life, Ciro, on June 14, 1969, and they enjoyed over 50 years of happiness together. She was preceded in death by her beloved Ciro as well as her siblings J. Clifford Malley (his wife, Francziska) and Patrick Malley (his wife Nancy) and brother-in-law Francisco Avellana. She is survived by her cherished sister Frankie (Malley) Avellana, sisters in law Lucille Aloisi and Lidia Salvino, and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews who adored her. Mary spent 24 years teaching and serving as a school librarian in the Pittsburgh Public school system, passing along her love of reading. She was proud of the time she spent as Head Librarian of Carrick High School. Throughout her life, Mary enjoyed traveling with her husband, listening to classical music, and cheering for the hometown sports teams. Mary was devout in her Catholic faith and was an active member of Resurrection Parish of St. Thomas More Church. Family and friends are welcome Friday, (July 29) from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Freyvogel-Slater Funeral Directors,112 Fort Couch Road, (opposite Macy’s South Hills Village), Bethel Park. Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, (July 30) 10:00 a.m., in St. Thomas More Church, Resurrection Parish, 126 Fort Couch Road.
