Martin R. Forrest

Age 72, of Scott Twp., on Monday, May 15, 2023.  Beloved husband of Marjorie (Herald) Forrest.  Dear father of Sarah Eckert (Richard) and Melanie Rowanne Stephenson (William). Loving grandfather of Richard and Macey Eckert, Elizabeth, Eowyn, Emily, Eleanor, Estelle, Evangelynn and Edith Stephenson. Dear brother of Susan Rowe (Howard). Martin retired as an electrical engineer for Bombardier for the last 20 years of his working career. He was a member of the Royal Air Force for 10 years. Martin was an avid cyclist, skier, hiker and loved motorcycles. The family would like to thank the Parkinson’s Foundation of Western PA, Dr. John Prendergast, Prime Time Adult Care, Jeannine Hartman, his personal trainer, and Chrissy Romani-Ruby, his physical therapist. Family and friends are welcome 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Thursday, WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, 1650 Greentree Road, Scott Twp., 15220, (412-563-2800), where a Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Parkinson’s Foundation of Western PA, or a charity of your choice.
