Martha Sepety

Age 85, of Mt. Lebanon, on Wednesday, June 29, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Andrew; loving mother of Cynthia and Suzanne. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mary (Slachta) Cerula; and eight siblings. A daughter of immigrants, Martha was a devout Byzantine Catholic and proud of her Rusyn heritage. She was an avid reader and fluid conversationalist, especially about politics and the stock market. Widowed at a young age, Martha raised two young daughters and saw both of them achieve post graduate degrees. Martha never met a stranger. She loved Slavonic music and loved to go out dancing until she was 80. Funeral service Saturday, 10 a.m. at St. Gregory Byzantine Catholic Church, Upper St. Clair. Interment in St. Mary's Byzantine Cemetery, Johnstown, PA on Tuesday, July 5, 2016, 11 a.m., graveside.
