Mark A. Kerns

Age 51, of Mt. Washington, formerly of Plum, on Tuesday, August 6, 2013. Son of the late Bernard "Bud" and Betty Kerns; dear brother of John W. Kerns and Kathleen (Joseph Hice) Younkins; also five nieces and nephews, many cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. Mark was a 1979 graduate of Plum High School and a 1990 graduate of Point Park College. He taught and coached basketball at St. Francis Xavier School and was a sales rep. for Lutheran distributors and Wilson and McGinley. Friends welcome Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at WM. SLATER & SONS, INC., Virginia Ave. at Kearsarge, Mt. Washington. Funeral Mass St. Mary of the Mount Church located in Sullivan Hall (Bigham St.) on Monday 10 a.m. (Everyone please meet at Sullivan Hall).
