Marie was the best mother, memaw, mother-in-law, sister, friend, confidant and movie buddy to everyone.
Marie was a talented artist, loved Elvis and watching movies with her grandkids. While she was loving and kind to everyone, when the occasion called for it, her family knew she would fiercely love and protect them if needed. Marie was a faithful Christian that effortlessly lived the word of Jesus Christ, you felt her peace whenever you were near her. Her family was her greatest pride and joy. Each and every one of her children and grandchildren will remember her hugs and the tight little squeeze of her saying “Mmm, Mmm love the baby!”
Marie leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and cherished memories in each and everyone that had the chance to meet her and love her. Her family is all at peace knowing she will be welcomed to heaven by so many that love her and she will get to love them without pain and the freedom to run to them.
