Marian W. Brannan

Age 94, of Upper St. Clair, on Sunday, November 5, 2017. Beloved wife for 65 years of the late Jack; loving mother of James Allen (Joan) Brannan of Long Island, NY; loving grandmother of Shamus John (Christine) Brannan and Casey James (Georgianna) Brannan; sister of Sara Frances Creel. Marian was a high school English teacher in the state of New York and recently taught English as a second language to students from over 60 different countries. Marian was also an avid learner of French, having traveled to Paris and spent time learning to speak and read books in French. She was also a member of the Bower Hill Community Church and she delighted in hostessing for friends.
