Margaret (Peggy) Ann Liwosz, (nee Ellis), 59, of Imperial Pa. passed away on July 6, 2022, surrounded by her loved ones.
Peggy is survived by her husband of 35 years, Daniel Liwosz, her sons Jarad (Kristen), Evan (Kelsey), daughter Hilary, and grandchildren Luke, Cole, Elliana, and Brooks Liwosz.
She was preceded in death by her parents Edwin F. and Mary Jane Ellis. As the seventh of eight children, Peggy is also survived by her siblings, Kathy Kinzeler (Bill), Bill Ellis (Debbie), Bud Ellis (Sherry), Mary Ann Hughes (Mike), Janie Piemonte (Mike), Mary Lou Bradley (Rich), and Greg Ellis (Susan).
A life-long Pittsburgh native, Peggy attended SS. Simon and Jude Elementary School, Bishop Canevin High School, and graduated from the University of Dayton. After graduation she returned to her hometown.
Peggy was a devoted wife, mother, “Gigi”, sister, aunt, and dear friend to many. She was everything wrapped up in one, especially to her husband and three children whose love for her was immeasurable. Her home was warm and welcoming, especially to her four grandchildren. She made everyone who came through her door feel like family.
Peggy will be remembered for her gracious smile, infectious laugh, warm and welcoming ways, and her strong faith. Her relationship with God was the foundation of her life. She volunteered throughout her life in her children’s schools, as a CCD teacher, and a Eucharistic Minister at St. Columbkille Catholic Church. She will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched.
