Margaret (Metil) Magreni

Age 90, of Green Tree, on Friday, September 16, 2016. Margaret M. Magreni passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of 55 years to the late Raymond V. Magreni; loving mother of Greg (Cathi) Magreni, Suzy (David) Rich, Gary (Shannon) Magreni; cherished "Gramy" of Megan (David) Pattinato, Amanda Rich, Gina (Chris) Dixon, and Stephen Magreni; daughter of the late Stephen and Suzanna Metil; sister of the late William (Ruth) Metil; survived by many nieces and nephews. As a retired employee of 20 years at the University of Pittsburgh, Margaret managed scholar athletes in Student Accounts. Margaret was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, an avid reader, and a member of the Green Tree Library Board as well as the Green Tree Garden Club. She was a phenomenal cook, hosting family dinners, while cheering on the Pitt Panthers and Pittsburgh Steelers. She loved her summer vacations at Myrtle Beach. Margaret was a very special person to all who knew her. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
