Lynn Anne (Driscoll) Peters

April 16, 1959 — March 6, 2025

Mt. Washington

Lynn Anne Peters (Driscoll), beloved mother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 6, 2025, surrounded by family. Born on April 16, 1959, she was a lifelong resident of Mount Washington. Lynn graduated from South Hills High School in 1978 and was a proud member of the Washington Heights Athletic Association softball team. Valuing education, Lynn continued on to earn her Associates in Construction Engineering Drafting. Even while raising two small children, Lynn prioritized her education by earning several certificates in manufacturing and programming. After 13 years as a CNC operator, Lynn retired from Halls Industries Inc with many life-long friends.

Lynn was the heart and soul of her family, known for her warmth, infectious laughter, and feisty spirit. She loved the thrill of visting Cedar Point with her children and the feel of the breeze through her hair on her minibike. She was fiercely independent and demonstrated great resiliency throughout her life. As a devoted friend and community member, Lynn provided strength, comfort, and wisdom to all who knew her. She served as a council member at the Mount Washington Senior Center where she enjoyed playing Rummikub, poker, and bingo with her friends. Her life was a testament to love, kindness, and compassion.

As a devoted mother of two, Lynn will forever be missed by her loving daughters Patricia Lynn Williams (Jeffrey) and Allison Marie Malkos (Joshua). She also leaves behind her dear siblings Diane Torbich and Micheal Driscoll, loving nieces and nephews Bobbi Jo, Brian (Lauren), and Bevin, as well as many other cherished relatives and friends. Lynn was preceded in death by her brother James Driscoll Jr. and parents James Driscoll Sr. and Dorothy Driscoll (Maher). Although Lynn will be dearly missed by all, her legacy and strength will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

To commemorate Lynn’s beautifully lived life and the joy she spread, family and friends are welcomed to a celebration of life held in her honor on Saturday, March 15, 2025, from 5pm to 7pm at  WM. SLATER & SONS INC. 301 Virginia Ave. Mount Washington, PA, 15211(412-381-3345) where a Blessing service will be held at 7:00 pm. Burial will be private.

May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love she gave so freely in life. We love you mom.
