Age 87, of Harrisburg, formerly of Pittsburgh, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2017, surrounded by family. Born December 15, 1929, to the late Albert and Tillie Mallinger, Louise was a graduate of McKees Rocks High School and the University of Pittsburgh. Louise was a physical education teacher for the Pittsburgh Public Schools, past president/member of B'Nai Brith Women, and past president and board member of United Senior Citizens of Upper St. Clair. Louise was dedicated to raising her family and enjoyed being involved and supportive of all of their accomplishments. Louise is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Louis Cohen; daughter, Patti Griesmer and brother, Paul Mallinger. She is survived by son-in-law, Chris Griesmer; daughters, Tracy (John) Dorsey and Amy (Luke) Leymeister, and son, Keith (Dory) Cohen; nephew, John Thomas (Colleen O'Shea); and grandchildren, including her very close granddaughter, Melissa.
