Lois Witte Walters

Of Mt. Lebanon, passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2020. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA, on January 12, 1936, to William and Caroline Witte. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, William C.; and sister, Helen; and her husband of 57 years, Arthur Lindsay Walters, who passed away in 2015. She is survived by her two children, Glenn Walters of Pittsburgh, PA and Cheryl (Timothy) Smith of Cypress, TX. She was a loving grandmother to Zachary (Nicholle) Smith and Benjamin Smith. Lois was a longtime member of Southminster Presbyterian Church, where she enjoyed participating in the music programs, especially the Chancel Choir and Women's Handbell Team. She devoted her time to volunteering through her church and the Girl Scouts. She loved traveling (with her beloved husband and friends), playing cards, reading, singing, and spending time with her loved ones. Memorial contributions may be made to Southminster Presbyterian Church, 799 Washington Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15228. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
