93, formerly of Banksville and Brookline, on Thursday, May 7, 2015. Wife of the late Harry L. Richards, Jr., devoted and beloved mother of Marilyn and Cindy Richards, daughter of the late Isabella Chalcraft, sister of the late James R. King and loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. A graduate of Langley High School, Lois worked for Helm Trucking Company and Eazor Express, and retired from Pittsburgh Pioneer Education Center (Pittsburgh Public Schools), where she worked for many years as a classroom aide for children with medical disabilities. Lois was a woman with a humble and generous heart, as well as a woman of fierce determination who met life and its challenges on her terms. She loved to work in her garden, enjoyed handcrafts and in her later years was an avid Penguins fan. She was selflessly devoted to her family and over the years participated in their activities as Girl Scout leader and Sunday School teacher. Lois was a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church, where she enjoyed contributing to the various sewing and knitting mission projects.
