Linda J. Brown-Sutphen

Of Pittsburgh, age 64, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 4, 2023. Linda is survived by her loving husband of 42 years Richard L. Sutphen; her beloved children, Miranda Herrle (Matthew Meeks), Richard Alan, Matthew Sean, and Russell Louis; her grandchildren, Claire Madison, Christopher John, Ryan James, Saori, and Ariah; her sister, Peggy; and her “sister”, Mary Mac. She was an avid gardener and antique hunter.  Linda loved her dogs, Allie, Molly, Lacey, and Tahja, but above everything she was a devoted mother and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Friends welcome Friday, April 14, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, 1650 Greentree Road, Scott Twp., 412-563-2800, where a blessing service will take place on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 10 AM. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Council of Pittsburgh, Attn: Jen Thoma, 3048 Pioneer Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15226.
