Linda Marie Persiani of Mt. Lebanon, peacefully passed away Nov. 9th, 2021 at the age of 77. Her unexpected death was the result of Covid-19 pneumonia. Born and raised in Carnegie, PA, Linda worked as a model while she studied at Robert Morris College. She was then employed at Westinghouse Corp. as an executive secretary in Pittsburgh. Linda was a devoted mother to her recently deceased son, Joseph Mihalic. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth and Mario Persiani, amongst many dear aunts, uncles and family. Linda was a loving mother to her surviving daughter, Elizabeth Halvorsen and son-in-law, Jeffrey. But she most cherished her granddaughters, Maria and Hayden McGee, as they brought tremendous joy, laughter and light to her life. Linda is also survived by her sister, Lorraine; her love, Bob Fox; devoted cousins, and many others that meant the world to her. Linda always put the needs of others before her own. She was an avid reader, loved to travel, adored classic movies, music and relaxing on the beach. She rarely missed one of her daily scenic walks and admired all things beautiful. Linda was an amazing cook and quite proud of her Italian heritage. Her favorite pastime was reminiscing of the old days, indulging in good food and laughing with those she held dearest in her heart. Our family deeply appreciates the prayers and kindness that everyone has shown during this difficult time. May God hold our beloved Linda in the palm of his hand and comfort her always.
