Leslie P. Herock

Age 68, of Green Tree, passed away quietly surrounded by loving family on Thursday, February 13, 2025. Beloved wife of 17 years of Ronald P. Lupish; daughter of the late Francis P. and Beverly J. (Kusner) Herock; sister of Laura Spivak (David) and Patricia Laverne (Michael); stepmother of Brian Lupish; aunt of Emily Spivak (Adam) and Christopher Davies; and great-aunt of Ezra Spivak-King. 

Leslie was born and raised in Homestead, PA, with older sister Laura, in a second and third generation Slovak and Hungarian family. She graduated from Langley High School in 1974, then worked for several years at Allegheny Ludlum. She later found her true passion: professional picture framing. Leslie worked for a number of years at various art and framing shops until the start of the Covid pandemic, when demand fell sharply.

She met her husband, Ron Lupish, via an online site. They had their first date on Valentine’s Day, 2002. They married in 2007 and moved into the home where they lived together for the next 17 happy years.

Leslie loved animals, particularly cats (having 5) and hummingbirds. She had a true aptitude for fixing things. She and Ron loved doing around-the-house projects together, where their knowledge and skills complemented each other.

All are welcome Friday, February 21, 2025 from 6-8 PM, WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, 1650 Greentree Road., Scott Twp., 412-563-2800, and again on Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 10 AM until the time of her Funeral Service at 11:30 AM. Interment private.
