Liberato “Lee” Martin Alfonsi
Lee passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday February 11, 2024. Lee was born on August 1, 1927 to Domenic and Gracia (Cerasoli) Alfonsi. Lee was preceded in death by his beloved wife Antoinette and loving son, Leo; sister, Eleanor; brothers, Italo and Antonio; son in law, Gregory Breauninger; and grandson, Erik. Lee is survived by his daughters, Debra Mannella (James) and Diane Black (Randy); daughter-in-law, Ginny; grandchildren, Kevin (Katie), Danielle, Shannon (Mark), Kendra (Jeff), James Jr., and Johnny; great grandchildren, Maura, Maggie, Molly, Emmi, Caden, Alex , Jack, and Mason; special friends, Mike, Teresa, Linda and Bill; granddoggie, Daisy; and many nieces and nephews. Lee was a member of the South Hills Italian club for over 40 years where until a few years ago he played bocce every Friday night and Mondays. Lee enjoyed a 37 year retirement from the USPS. Lee loved working in his garden and fighting with the groundhogs. Dad was a friend to all and loved his family dearly and will be missed by anyone that was lucky to know him.
All are welcome Thursday, February 15, 2-4 and 6-8 PM at WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, 1650 Greentree Rd., Scott Twp., 412-563-2800 where his funeral service will take place Friday, February 16 at 10:30 AM. Interment to follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
