Lawrence "Larry" Lepri passed away on September 17th, 2022 at the age of 73 after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones. Larry dedicated his life to helping young people. For 37 years he served as a teacher at Pocono Mountain School District, assisting students of all levels including those with the highest need. Along with teaching, Larry loved coaching baseball, basketball, and football and was known in the community as Coach Lepri. Larry was known for his larger-than-life personality and sense of humor. He loved golfing with friends, being involved in sports, and spending time with his wife and children. Larry always had a fondness for his birthplace Dunmore, PA and the many friends and family members from that area. Larry is survived by his wife, Marti; his three children Bryan and his partner Jo, Matt and his wife Laura, and Jessica and her partner Justin; his brother Robert and his wife Julie; his grandson Otto; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. The family would like to thank the many friends, neighbors, and family who assisted during this difficult fight as well as the amazing people in the medical community who fought with Larry the past two years. A Celebration of Larry's Life will take place at Smugglers Cove in Tannersville, PA on Thursday, September 22nd from 6:00pm-8:00pm.
