Karl was the son of the late George F. and Mary Evelyn Kim of Pittsburgh and Big Run, PA. Loving husband of Joan (Spisak) Kim for 50 years. Father of Kurt (Stacey) Kim. Grandfather of Kaitlin Allison Kim, Riley Emersyn Kim, Brooklyn Helen Kim and Keegan Evelyn Kim; survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. After graduating from Taylor Allderdice High School, Karl worked as an engineer for Power Piping Company for 50 years. He served in the US Army in Heidelberg, Germany, with the 529th MP/USAREUR Honor Guard. Also an active worker with the Christian Churches of Western Pennsylvania and the Christian Evangelistic Society of Western Pennsylvania.
