Joseph W. Zupcic

Age 69, of Pittsburgh, peacefully at his home, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2020. Born June 2, 1951 to the late Joseph and Margaret Zupcic, of Carnegie. Beloved father of Deanna L. (Philip) Fluharty, Joseph T. Zupcic and Elizabeth A. (Raymond) Zaney. Loving grandfather of Philip D. Jr. (Amanda), Colby J., and Sariah F. Fluharty, Matthew S. Collins and Raymond J. Zaney. Joseph was the youngest of 9 children and survived by his siblings Agnus Schreiber, Helen Matlack, Margaret Mary Habovic, Elizabeth Cunningham and Rose Malizio. Preceded in death by siblings William Zupcic, Francine Conti and Josephine Riddle. Joseph retired after a long, dedicated career with the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Joseph was an active golfer who mostly enjoyed spending time with his family and riding his Harley Davidson Street Glide. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Margaret of Scotland Church on SATURDAY, July 25, 2020 at 10:00 am. Burial will be private to the family.
