Joseph G. Petti

Age 87, of the South Hills, died peacefully of natural causes on Monday, August 13, 2012. Beloved husband of 57 years to the late Mary Subosits Petti. Father of Vincent (Linda Torres) Petti, Victoria (Frank) Petraglia and Joseph (Carol) Petti; grandfather of Frank Petraglia of Durham, NC, Louis Petraglia of Wake Forest, NC and Joseph James Petti of Mt. Lebanon; son of the late Louis and Helen Petti Austro Hungarian immigrants; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Joseph was awarded his diploma early as he left his senior class (Millvale class of 1943) to proudly serve in the US Navy Pacific Theater Submarine Corps. He was a real estate entrepreneur for over 50 years and founding father of VJV Real Estate Investments and never really retired. He also loved to celebrate holidays with his family with good food and fine wine. Friends welcome Thursday 7-9 PM and Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, 1650 Greentree Rd., Scott Twp. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday 10 AM St. Bernard Church. Interment Mt.
