Age 73, of Sarver, formerly of Mt. Washington, passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2018. Beloved husband for 53 years of Janis L. (Rankin) Opferman; dear father of JoAnn L. Missig and Joseph G. (Ruth) Opferman, Jr.; loving Pap of Alexis, Katie, Joey, Caroline, and Nathan; cherished great-Pap Pap of Piper, Harley and Quinn; brother of the late Margaret Delhanty, Edmund and Robert G. Opferman; also survived by nieces and nephews, and loving sisters-in-law. Joe was a proud member of Allegheny Valley Marine Corps League Detachment #827.
