Joseph Anthony Milano, age 84, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania passed away on September 13, 2021 in his hometown.
He was born on October 4th, 1936 in Pittsburgh, PA and has resided in Canton Ohio, Hamburg New York, Howell NJ, and Bradley Beach NJ.
Joseph served in the Air Core of the US Army and was active in the Korean War.
Joseph worked at Singer Sewing Machine Company for 34 years and retired as the Vice President for U.S. dealer sales. After retirement he proudly owned and operated a Singer sewing machine store and later 3 Oreck Vacuum retail locations.
Hobbies included a love for running, the beach, going to the gym, dining out and socializing. He was an active member of the Civil Air Patrol until his final days. Joseph enjoyed playing the accordion and listening to Frank Sinatra. He was also a member at St. Michael the Archangel Parish at Our Lady of Grace Church.
He is survived by his children: Gina Naekel and son-in-law Glen Naekel of Breinigsville, PA, Joseph Milano, Jr. of Pittsburgh, PA, and Judee Milano of Pittsburgh, PA. He is also survived by his granddaughters, who lovingly referred to him as 'Poppy': Margaret (Maggie) Milano, Lucee Karu, and Sarah Naekel.
He is preceded in death by his beloved son Anthony Milano, dog Harley and siblings Lucille Milano Fink, Frances Fink and Ronald Fink.
He is loved and will be missed by many.
