A graduate of Langley High School, he was a US Marine and a veteran of the Korean War. He was an active member of Holy Trinity Church, where he served as a lectern for many years. Prominent in the state and local Democrat Party, Joe served as a Robinson Township commissioner. His legacy to his family was to work hard and play hard: but only in that order.
