Joseph C. Batelli

Of Green Tree, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2022.  Born May 1, 1934, in Library, PA, to Anton and Jennie Batelli.  Survived by his loving wife, Doris, and her children, Brad and Karen; her grandchildren, Ryan, Kiersten, and Kirby; and his companion Sparky.  Brother-in-law of Rosemary Batelli; and brother of Wilda Kuzman and the late William, Tony, Ralph, Edward Batelli, and Mary Capwell, Edith Rabold, Emma Mervin, Jennie Childers, and Irene Wachter, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.  Joseph was a U.S. Army Veteran and retired from Western Electric.  He enjoyed racing his horses at the Meadows, gardening, wildlife, and feeding backyard birds.  He and Doris traveled extensively throughout the United States and Europe, but his favorite places were Slovenia, the National Parks, and Las Vegas.  Interment will be private the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies on Tuesday, August 16, 2022.  Arrangements Entrusted to WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICES, Scott Twp.
