Age 60, of Worthington, PA, formerly of Mt. Lebanon (Pittsburgh) died Nov. 20, having lost his two year battle with cancer. He was born to John, Jr. and the late Mary Frances Dockum, in Evansville, IN and grew up in Mt. Lebanon. He is survived by his loving wife, Pamela of 22 years, his father and two sons, John IV (Jason) and Jeffrey, and one daughter, Kathleen, two sisters, Mckayla Braden and Melissa Kelly, and many nieces and nephews.
After graduating from Mt. Lebanon High School Jeff received a BA in engineering degree from Kent State University and a MA from the University of Pittsburgh, Graduate School of Public and International Affairs. His professional career included teaching at the former Robert Morris College and as vice president of sales for a local firm that refurbished structures such as the Duquesne Incline stations and buildings in Pittsburgh and Cleveland.
Jeff loved his farm home of many years in Worthington caring for its animals, ponds, fields and pastures that grace the beautiful hillsides and the opportunities its affords to hunt, fish, ride and ski with his family. He loved and in turn was revered by his many, many friends. His love of life will be sorely missed.
