John Choma

Age 93, of Scott Twp., on Tuesday, October 19, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Helen Teresa (Burke). Loving father of the late infant son Michael John Choma. Dear brother of the late Andy (Jeri), Peter Choma, Mary (Alex) Pawlak, Chris (Nick) Cindric, Steve (Kay), Nick, and Al "Butch" (Carol) Choma. Dearest friends of Jeffrey & Rita Burkey and Walt & Rebecca Skolnicki. Loving Pap Pap of David & Amanda Burkey, Catherine & Jared Skolnicki and great grandfather of Connor & Blake Burkey. Also survived by loving nieces and nephews. John was an Army Veteran of the Korean War and a former POW. He was a member of the National & Pittsburgh Chapters of POW, American Legion, V.F.W., D.A.V. and a volunteer Fireman, South Fayette. Friends welcome Sunday 4-8 p.m. at WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, 1650 Greentree Rd., Scott Twp., 15220 where a Parastas Prayer Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service 10:00 a.m. Monday in Holy Virgin Russian Orthodox Church, Carnegie.
