Beloved husband of Barbara Jean (Kader) Brown; son of the late Thomas Ralph and Catherine Scanlon Brown; brother of Dorothy Flynn of Columbus, OH, the late Rose Basilone and the late Thomas R. (Maryann) Brown, Jr; and many nieces and nephews. John was retired from Duquesne Light and a former usher and member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
