Joel F. Leszczewski

Age 67, of Carnegie, beloved father of Christopher Leszczewski and father-in-law to Michelle, passed away suddenly Thursday, September 21st. Joel is survived by numerous relatives, extended family and friends. Joel retired from Verizon after a long career in telecommunications and was the recipient of a purple heart in accordance with his service in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam war. At the close of his life Joel was assisted greatly by his nephew, Duane, and neighbor, Janet, and their efforts are sincerely appreciated. Funeral mass will be held on Friday, September 29th at St. Mary of the Mount Church at 10am. Interment of remains will occur on Tuesday, October 3rd at National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at 1pm.
