Joanne M. (Neff) Zuri

Born December 13, 1935, passed peacefully into the loving arms of our Lord, on March 14, 2022, at the age of 86. Daughter of the late Theodore and Margaret Neff, Joanne was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, along with her sister, Dolores (Neff) Itzel, who preceded her in death. Beloved and adored by her late husband, Robert A. Zuri, they were married for 29 beautiful years and were loving parents to three daughters, Sharon (Paul) Rogers, Diane Zuri and the late Carole Zuri. Her greatest joy came from being with her family and watching them realize their dreams. She will forever be the proud and loving Gram to her two grandsons, Cole Robert and Jordan Christopher Rogers, whom she never missed an opportunity to spoil. Joanne worked for General Motors for many years, but found her second family working at GeGa Corp., where she proudly worked for 37 years before her retirement. She was lovingly known as "Mama Z" to co-workers, friends and family, who share many wonderful memories with her. In addition to her daughters, who were the light of her life, she is survived by her nephews, Robert, Ronald and Roger and the late Richard and Patricia Itzel. Joanne was a devout Catholic and we ask that you please share in the celebration of her new life in the Kingdom of God, where she is finally reunited with her family and loved ones.
