Age 86, of Upper St. Clair, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Ronald V. Luzar for 45 cherished years. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, she was the devoted daughter of the late George and Mary Lasch.
She was the loving and dedicated mother of Christian J. Luzar (Shawna), Jason E. Luzar (Stephanie), Justin A. Luzar (Darlene), and Deron G. Luzar (Michelle), and a proud grandmother to her nine grandchildren, who brought endless joy to her life.
A devoted follower of Jesus, she lived a life rooted in faith, humility, and service to others. Her generosity and acts of kindness were a reflection of her deep love for God and her desire to make a difference in the lives of those around her. As an active member of the Ladies of Charity, she worked tirelessly to support those in need, embodying the spirit of service and compassion in everything she did.
All are welcome to honor her life on Saturday, February 15, 2025, with visitation from 8:45–9:45 AM at Freyvogel-Slater Funeral Directors, 112 Fort Couch Rd., Bethel Park, 412-835-1860. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 AM at St. Thomas More Church, Resurrection Parish, 126 Fort Couch Rd. Interment will take place at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, where she will rest beside her beloved husband.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ladies of Charity at Resurrection Parish, a cause close to her heart.
Her unwavering faith, selflessness, and loving spirit will forever be cherished by her family and all whose lives she touched.
