Joanne F. Endsley

Joanne Frankhouser Endsley, age 84, passed away on Friday, July 7, 2023, at home surrounded by her family. 

Joanne was born July 7, 1939, in Uniontown, PA to the late Ivan D. and Madelon J. Frankhouser. She was the youngest of three children. Her two brothers preceded her in death. 

Joanne is survived by her loving husband, Robert T. Endsley, married in 1958. They recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. Together they had two children, Pamela A. Marchetto and the late Mark Christian Endsley. 

Joanne had two grandchildren, Nicole and Daniel, and three great grandchildren, Beaux, Eve, and Ethos. 

Joanne was raised Baptist and played piano for her church. She loved music, shopping, and dining. She loved Sunday drives where she never took the shortest route and loved celebrating birthdays. 

Over the last 14 months, after suffering a severe stroke, Joanne showed nothing but grace, courage, and strength. She will be missed dearly. 

Per her request, there will be no public service. Interment will be at Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, PA. Arrangements entrusted to WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, Scott Twp., 412-563-2800.

In lieu of flowers, treat yourself and a loved one to a shopping trip and dinner.
