Joan McElhone

Age 71, of Bethel Park, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 12, 2026 after a three and half year battle with ALS. Beloved wife of 46 years of the late Timothy M. McElhone; loving mother of Michael P. (Gina), Timothy R. (Erica), and Sean W. (Jenna); grandmother to Aubrey, Zachary, Hailey, Harper, Timothy, Hannah, Christian, Alana, Aria, Vincenzo, and Roman; daughter of Johanna Rimsky and the late John A. Rimsky; sister of Mary Peterson and Lisa Jenkins (the late Tom).

Joan was a kind and selfless woman who put others before herself. Her greatest joy in life was her family and friends, especially her sons and grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday, April 16, 2026, 10 AM, St. Thomas More Church, Resurrection Parish, 126 Ft. Couch Rd. Interment to follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
