Age 81, of Scott Township, formerly of Mt. Washington, hung up her Pierogi apron and flew with the angels on Thursday, October 8, 2020. She was the beloved wife of Leonard Kuchnicki; loving mother of Lenny Kuchnicki, Sharon Redmond, and Lynn (Keith) McGann; cherished Gram of Mitchell, Matthew and Micaela Redmond and Ryan and Hanna Kuchnicki; cherished Memaw of Connor McGann; sister of Eleanor (the late George) Stoler, Robert (the late Mary Ann) Luczko, Richard (Donna) Luczko and the late Joseph Luczko, Jr. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and relatives. On May 28, 1960, Joan married the boy next door, Leonard, and they recently celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary. She had a passion for cooking and was well-known to her family and friends for her delicious Pierogies. Coincidentally, she passed on National Pierogi Day. Joan suffered with many health issues over the past two years and is finally at peace. She will be dearly missed. Family and friends welcome Sunday, 2-8 pm.
